Woman Killed in Northwest Baltimore Collision

A multivehicle collision in Northwest Baltimore left a 45-year-old woman dead and another person seriously injured Saturday night.

Baltimore police responded to the intersection of Liberty Heights Avenue and Wabash Avenue, where officers discovered two vehicles with extensive damage.

Emergency personnel pronounced the 45-year-old woman dead at the scene. Authorities did not release her name or specify whether she was driving or riding as a passenger.

A second occupant suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not identify that person or provide a subsequent update on the patient’s condition.

The makes and models of the vehicles were not disclosed in the initial report. Authorities also did not explain how the collision occurred or identify the directions in which the vehicles had been traveling.
