Pedestrian Struck by a Dodge Challenger in Joppatowne Resulting in Death

Joseph Myers, 62, was tragically killed in a pedestrian crash that occurred on Pulaski Highway and Joppa Road in Joppatowne. According to investigation from the Maryland State Police, Myers had entered the intersection while not at a crosswalk as the traffic signal was green. The 2016 Dodge Challenger, which hit Myers, injured three of its passengers who were shortly afterwards transferred to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. This incident has been an immense loss to both Myers’ family and the community of Joppa, who mourns his death and wishes a swift recovery to those injured in the crash.
