A morning commute in Prince George’s County turned deadly when a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of one driver and left another seriously injured. The collision occurred around 6:50 a.m. on April 28, 2026, along Laurel-Bowie Road near Old Laurel Bowie Road.
According to investigators, one of the vehicles was traveling southbound when it suddenly crossed into the northbound lanes for reasons that have not yet been determined. The resulting collision caused significant damage and prompted a rapid emergency response.
Both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of the drivers, later identified as 25-year-old Mohammed Al Yasiri, succumbed to his injuries. The second driver remains hospitalized with serious injuries, though additional details about their condition have not been released.
