Tragedy struck on Sunday morning in Baltimore when Earl Preston III lost his life in a fatal accident. The 53-year-old man was attempting to cross East Joppa Road near the intersection of East Joppa Road and Loch Raven Boulevard when he was struck by a 2018 Acura TLX. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Preston succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. While the driver of the Acura has not been identified, they remained at the scene and are cooperating with authorities. The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, including whether speed, impairment, or other factors contributed to the crash.
