A 2022 Toyota Rav4 Veers Off The Side Of The Road and Strikes a BGE Pole and a Fence Resulting in Death

Tragedy struck in Southern Anne Arundel County on Sunday morning, when two men lost their lives in a single-vehicle car accident. At 11:10 am, first responders were called to the scene of the crash on Shady Side Road at Deep Cove Road in the quiet community of Shady Side. Reports indicate that the vehicle in question was the only one involved in the accident.
A 2022 Toyota Rav4 veered off the right side of the road and crashed into a drainage ditch, a fence, and a BGE pole, leaving the driver and passenger dead at the scene. Sadly, the driver, Christian Alvarado, 27, from Lanham, and passenger, Jason Solano, 24, from Rockville had both passed by the time emergency personnel arrived.
As of yet, the cause of the crash remains unknown and police are conducting an investigation.
