Incident Information

Maryland State Police reported a tragic incident near Exit 85 on the southbound side of I-95 in Aberdeen Thursday morning. 19-year old Guiermo Che, of Philadelphia was killed after being struck by a white 2013-2017 Audi A5 or S5 at 2:15 am. The car veered onto the shoulder of the highway and hit three people, two of which were putting gasoline into a car. The driver abandoned their vehicle and fled the scene, while medics transported the survivors to the hospital for treatment. After searching the area, it appeared that this particular vehicle sustained damage to its right front bumper and headlight or fog light, meaning anyone with information about its whereabouts should contact law enforcement immediately.
