On the morning of July 25, 2023, tragedy struck at the intersection of Point Lookout Road and Chingville Road. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two cars – a 2003 Chrysler 300 and a 2004 International Box Truck. The drivers, Jeffrey Glenn Burch and Carlos Alberto Lebron Morales, both from Lexington Park, were involved in the collision.

The events surrounding the horrific collision between a Chrysler 300 and an International Box Truck have left many reeling with shock and disbelief. According to the investigation, the Chrysler 300 was traveling southbound on Point Lookout Road when it suddenly veered into the northbound lane, culminating in a forceful impact with the box truck. The aftermath of the crash has left Jeffrey Glenn Burch with life-threatening injuries, prompting an urgent rush to Washington Hospital Center.
