Silver Spring Man Dies In Baltimore-Washington Parkway Crash

Tragedy struck the Baltimore-Washington Parkway on August 5th, as a three-car crash resulted in the loss of life for one man. The police have now identified the victim, bringing some closure to his loved ones.

Sulayman Juwara, a 48-year-old resident of Silver Spring, was identified and confirmed to Patch by authorities on August 16. 

The U.S. Park Police reported that the incident occurred near Fort Meade, Annapolis Junction, and Laurel around 11pm. Sadly, Juwara did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other adults involved in the accident were taken to the hospital as well. The good news is that the authorities expect all three individuals to survive. While this update is certainly a relief for the surviving victims, it’s still important to remember the devastating impact these fatal accidents can have on all of those involved. As for what caused this particular accident, police have not released any further information, and the investigation is still ongoing.
