Fatal Pedestrian Crash on North Charles Street in Baltimore

The Baltimore community is mourning the loss of 68-year-old Monique Bellefleur, who was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident on the 4600 Block of North Charles Street Sunday afternoon. According to officials, police were called to the scene just before 4 p.m. and discovered the devastating incident involving Bellefleur. 

The victim was taken to the hospital, but her condition was critical. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, she eventually passed away. Now, Baltimore police detectives are interviewing the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.  

While we wait to hear more details, we can’t help but pause and think about the importance of being aware and vigilant when behind the wheel. It’s a responsibility that shouldn’t be taken lightly and a sobering reminder of just how fragile life can be.

The Auto Investigation Unit of the local police department is urging anyone who has any information about the crash to report it immediately. The devastating news has left a hole in the community, as friends and family try to process the sudden loss.
