James Anthony Williams struck by two vehicles
Incident Information
A pedestrian crash in Charles County resulted in a fatality after a man was struck by two vehicles in the early morning hours.
The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on May 2, 2026, along Maryland Route 210 near Wooster Drive in Bryans Road. Authorities say 46-year-old James Anthony Williams was standing in the roadway when he was struck by a Honda CR-V.
After the initial impact, Williams fell into the roadway and was struck a second time by a Toyota Prius. Emergency responders airlifted him to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Neither required medical transport.
