Pedestrian Killed, Another Injured in Towson Crash

On the quiet Sunday morning of September 17th in Baltimore County, tragedy struck at the intersection of E. Seminary Avenue and Dulaney Valley Road. Police were called to the scene just before 9:30 a.m. after reports of a devastating motor vehicle accident involving two pedestrians. Sadly, one of the pedestrians did not survive the crash.

The intersection was thrown into chaos as authorities and emergency responders arrived at the scene of the tragic accident involving a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and the two pedestrians in the crosswalk. The aftermath brought about the discovery of 57-year-old Mary Beth Green, sadly struck by the vehicle as she walked alongside the other victim. In the midst of it all, thankfully the driver of the Dodge Ram remained on site, making the necessary efforts to ensure help had arrived.

Green was immediately rushed to the hospital due to the severity of her injuries, but passed away just before 10:00 a.m. The second pedestrian involved in the accident who remains unidentified was also rushed to a local hospital with injuries that were fortunately not life-threatening. The cause of the accident remains a mystery, and authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. This incident serves as a somber reminder to be vigilant on the roads and to prioritize safety for ourselves and others.
