Two Seriously Injured, One Flown Out After Collision Involving Motorcycle On Budds Creek Road

The sound of sirens filled the air on June 16th at around 9:43 a.m. when Emergency personnel had received a call about an unexpected motor vehicle collision on Budds Creek Road near Aviation Yacht Club Road. Swiftly, they rushed to the scene to offer their assistance and lend a helping hand to those who were involved in the incident.

In the devastating accident reported earlier this week, a motorcyclist crashed into a pick-up truck. The crash left two motorcyclists seriously injured. Upon emergency services’ arrival, CPR was immediately initiated by the EMS team on one of the patients, while arrangements for MEDEVAC transport were made for the other. Despite these tragic circumstances, firefighters worked quickly and diligently to establish a safe landing zone for Maryland State Police, Trooper 7, to transport the second patient to receive further treatment. The first patient, with CPR still in progress, was rushed by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. 

The second patient, whose condition remains unknown at this time, was rushed to the Baltimore Shock Trauma Center for urgent medical attention immediately following safe landing. With police still on the scene as they investigate the cause of the accident, this is truly a developing story that we will be keeping a close eye on. Stay tuned for further updates as they emerge.
