Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Dundalk

Tragedy struck in Baltimore County on Saturday morning, when a fatal pedestrian crash occurred at the intersection of Jaydee Avenue and German Hill Road. The incident involved a 54-year-old man named Dayton Balliet Jr. who was working under a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was supported by a jack. While he was tinkering with the vehicle, a Toyota Sienna attempted to park behind it, only to accidentally strike the car and knock it off the jack. Sadly, Balliet lost his life as a result of the incident, leaving behind loved ones who are surely struggling to cope with the sudden loss.

Balliet was critically injured in the devastating incident. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, there was no chance of his survival and he was pronounced deceased. The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team is currently leading an investigation into the accident, trying to piece together exactly what happened and why. It’s a heartbreaking ordeal, with loved ones and friends mourning the loss of someone they cared deeply about. We can only hope that the investigation will provide some form of closure and answers for those affected by this tragedy.
