Amelia Knuckey, 85, was pronounced dead at the scene
Incident Information
An 85-year-old Odenton woman was killed Monday afternoon in a head-on collision on Piney Orchard Parkway.
The crash occurred around 3:25 p.m. on June 15, 2026, near Ransom Drive. Investigators said a 2013 Lexus RX350 was traveling south on Piney Orchard Parkway when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, crossed into the northbound lane, and struck a 2020 Hyundai Tucson head-on.
The Hyundai passenger, identified as Amelia Knuckey, 85, of Odenton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hyundai driver, also an 85-year-old Odenton resident, and the Lexus driver, a 62-year-old Odenton woman, were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Anne Arundel County Police Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating.
