Three-Vehicle Waldorf Crash Sends One to Trauma Center

A serious three-vehicle crash in Waldorf prompted an emergency rescue response Wednesday afternoon after two people became trapped in separate vehicles.

The collision was reported at approximately 1:53 p.m. on July 1, 2026, near Gallant Green Road and Hoffman Road in Waldorf, Maryland. According to The BayNet, emergency crews arrived to find three vehicles involved in the crash and two occupants trapped. First responders worked to remove both trapped individuals before turning them over to EMS personnel for medical care.

One patient was transported by ground to UM Capital Region Medical Center, indicating the crash involved injuries serious enough to require trauma-level medical evaluation. Another person at the scene signed a care refusal, meaning they declined further medical treatment after being assessed.
