Motorcycle Crash in Great Mills Sends Motorcyclist to Hospital

GREAT MILLS, Md. — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday evening, October 20, 2025, after a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Chancellors Run Road and Buck Hewitt Road.
Emergency crews responded around 5:30 p.m. and, upon assessing the rider’s condition, requested a medevac. The patient was transported by EMS to St. Mary’s County Regional Airport, where Maryland State Police Trooper 7 met the ambulance and airlifted the motorcyclist to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
