Car Accident Leaves One Dead, 8-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Easton

The Easton Police Department has released devastating news of a fatal car crash that occurred early Sunday morning. A 24-year-old man lost his life after a Ford Explorer overturned on its side near Dover Road. Emergency services arrived at the scene to find four people outside the totaled vehicle with severe injuries.

The accident occurred on Dover Rd, and according to police reports, the Ford vehicle involved crossed the centerline just after passing Chilcutt Rd and then rolled multiple times after driving off the road. It’s heartbreaking to learn that one victim, a 24-year-old man, was in such critical condition that he was rushed to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The other three victims, including an eight-year-old child and two Easton men aged 31 and 32, were flown to hospitals, two of whom were taken to Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, while the third was taken to Maryland’s Shock Trauma.

The 32-year-old and the 8-year-old were left with serious injuries and are in stable condition. The 31-year-old has since been treated and released. This tragedy serves as a powerful reminder to always practice caution while on the road.
