Pedestrian Hit with an Audi A8 in Anne Arundel County Resulting in Death

The Maryland State Police are urgently searching for the driver and vehicle responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred Monday morning in Anne Arundel County. Witnesses reported that at approximately 1:55 a.m., the victim, identified as Delroy Roderick Ben, 54, of Glen Burnie, was hit by what police believe was a black Audi A8 or S8. After being declared deceased at the scene, the area of southbound I-97 at Maryland Route 648 was closed temporarily as investigators conducted their work. Anyone with information about this tragic incident is strongly encouraged to come forward and aid in the search to find justice for Ben’s family.
