Crash Involving a SUV and Motorcycle in Hebron Sends Three to the Hospital

HEBRON, MD – Maryland State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Wicomico County that took place on Sunday.
According to Maryland State Police, officers responded to the crash at around 11:44 a.m. on Westbound Route 50 near Old Railroad Road in Hebron.
Authorities say a black Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling west on US-50 when it collided with a red Lincoln Nautilus SUV. The preliminary investigation indicates that the SUV, driven by 83-year-old George Leroy Nesbitt Jr., was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of US-50 to reach Old Railroad Road from a center crossover.
Nesbitt, the only occupant of the SUV, was transported to TidalHealth in Salisbury.
The motorcycle rider, 42-year-old John Henry Parater, and his passenger, 24-year-old Hannah Marie Fox, were flown by MSP Aviation to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
