Tragedy struck a quiet neighborhood in Brunswick, MD on Tuesday evening when a two-year-old boy was attacked by a dog. First responders were called to the scene in the 400 block of West B Street where they found the child with life-threatening injuries. Despite their efforts, the toddler went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Frederick Health Hospital. Authorities have since quarantined the dog responsible for the attack at Frederick County’s Division of Animal Control. The family of the young victim hails from Fauquier County, Virginia, and the investigation into this heart-wrenching incident is ongoing.
