BALTIMORE, MD – A fiery crash on Hillen Road early Friday morning claimed the lives of two men and disrupted traffic along the Northeast corridor during rush hour.

Police responded to the 3900 block of Hillen Road at approximately 5:47 a.m. and discovered two vehicles fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze and reach the victims.

A 53-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital, where a 39-year-old man later died from his injuries. The condition of the second driver has not been released.

The Accident Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry into what caused the deadly collision. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
