Pedestrian Accident in Prince George’s County Results in Death

Early on Saturday morning, tragedy struck the intersection of Silver Hill Road and Navy Day Drive in Prince George’s County. Around 5am, the police department received a call about a pedestrian collision and quickly responded to the scene. Sadly, they discovered that a man had been hit by a vehicle and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and passed away shortly after arrival.

The details of the accident are still being investigated by police, but the driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene and is said to be cooperating fully. As the investigation into the incident continues, many in the community are left shaken by the sudden loss of life. This serves as a sobering reminder to always exercise caution when driving or walking near roadways.
