A man was killed and another injured following a rollover crash on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway in Montgomery County, Maryland, on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. between the Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road exits on Interstate 495 in Silver Spring, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services.

Fire officials reported that bystanders pulled both men from the overturned vehicle and began performing CPR at the scene.

One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
