Silver Nissan Frontier Collides with Disabled Tractor-Trailer Resulting in Injury.

Incident Information

On Friday evening, a fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on the outer loop of I-695 at Stevenson Road in Pikesville, Baltimore County. Maryland State Police responded to the scene at around 9 p.m. and found that a silver Nissan Frontier had veered off of the roadway and onto the shoulder, where it then struck a disabled tractor-trailer. Both vehicles caught on fire as a result of the collision. The driver of the Nissan, Anthony Robert Schepis, 35, of Bel Air, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unharmed in the crash. The outer loop of I-695 was temporarily closed following the accident. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
