The accident involved two vehicles, a 2019 Ford Escape and a 2013 Ford Fiesta. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Ford Escape was traveling southbound on Solomons Island Road when it suddenly crossed the centerline and collided with the northbound Ford Fiesta striking it head on.
