LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, shut down part of Three Notch Road after a sedan collided with a minivan at the intersection of Saint James Church Road.

The crash was reported around 4:55 p.m. when a silver sedan T-boned a white minivan, causing significant damage to both vehicles and scattering debris across the roadway. Firefighters and EMS personnel responded promptly, surrounding the scene and checking on the occupants.

No injuries were reported, and all individuals involved declined medical transport after being evaluated on-site.

Traffic in both directions on Three Notch Road was temporarily halted while units from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and emergency crews secured the area and cleared the wreckage.

The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
