Three Hospitalized, Including a Child After a Multi-Vehicle Crash That Involved a School Bus

FREDERICK, Md. — Three people, including a child, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision involving a school bus on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-70, near Old National Pike in Frederick County.
According to Fire and Rescue officials, the crash involved a total of seven people and four vehicles, including the school bus. Fortunately, no students were on board at the time. However, one child was airlifted to a trauma center.
Two other individuals were transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, while two more declined medical treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
