Khanh Minh Nguyen, 29, was pronounced dead after the early-morning crash
Incident Information
A motorcycle crash in Severn left a 29-year-old man dead after he was thrown from his bike while traveling along Town Center Boulevard.
Anne Arundel County Police identified the rider as Khanh Minh Nguyen of Severn. According to the department, Western District officers were called to the intersection of Town Center Boulevard and Jacobs Road at approximately 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Investigators said Nguyen was riding a Kawasaki Ninja northbound on Town Center Boulevard. Preliminary findings indicate he was approaching a curve when he failed to negotiate the roadway and was thrown from the motorcycle.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded along with police. Despite the emergency response, Nguyen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Because the crash resulted in a death, the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Team was requested to investigate. The team is responsible for examining evidence from serious and fatal collisions, including roadway conditions, vehicle movement and other circumstances that may have contributed to a crash.
Police have not announced involvement by another vehicle, and the initial investigation classified the incident as a single-vehicle motorcycle collision. Authorities also have not publicly reported whether speed, impairment, weather or another factor contributed to the crash.
Town Center Boulevard connects communities in the Severn and Odenton area and extends toward Jacobs Road. County planning records confirm the road connection through the area.
The investigation remains active, and police said the Crash Reconstruction Team will handle the case.
