A 5-year-old Boy on His Bicycle Struck By a Car on West Cold Spring Lane
Tragedy struck Northwest Baltimore when a 5-year-old boy lost control of his bicycle and was struck by a car. The driver, who left the scene, is currently being searched for by city police. However, hope remains as they are also looking for a man who draped a coat over the injured child until an ambulance arrived. This man could be a key witness to the unfortunate incident.
The child, Hassan Dorsey, fought for his life but unfortunately, succumbed to massive head injuries at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. The incident occurred when Hassan’s brakes failed while he was heading east on West Cold Spring Lane near his house. He veered into the road in front of a parked car and fell off his bike, landing in the path of a cream-colored vehicle. Sadly, the boy did not survive the accident. The driver of the vehicle is facing charges for leaving the scene of an injury accident, and it is being investigated whether additional charges will be filed in connection with the death.
