A man suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash Friday afternoon in Baltimore’s Broadway East neighborhood, Baltimore police said.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of East Preston Street after reports of a hit-and-run and found an unidentified man in critical condition. Police determined the man was riding a motorcycle when he was struck by a blue four-door truck that fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the Baltimore Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit is actively investigating the incident.
