Car Accident: Victim Killed on Piscataway Rd and King Gallahan Ct

Tragedy struck Prince George’s County on a Friday afternoon when a fatal car crash claimed the life of one teen boy and left another injured. The collision took place near Piscataway Road and King Gallahan Court, leaving police officers with the daunting task of responding to the scene at 12:35 p.m. 

A 15-year-old boy, Shaun Shelton, was driving a stolen Kia Sedona minivan in the wrong direction. The minivan collided head-on with a pickup truck, instantly taking the life of Shelton and leaving the passenger, another teenage male, with severe injuries. The injured teen was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup truck, a man, was also thankfully taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It’s hard to fathom the purpose or reasoning behind the actions that led to this incident, but it’s important to reflect on the real-life consequences of reckless and dangerous driving.
