Northwest Baltimore Car Crash Claims Life of 76-Year-Old Woman

A 76-year-old woman died Sunday after her Kia collided with an Acura at an intersection in Northwest Baltimore, according to police.
Officers from the Northwest District responded around 4:52 p.m. to a report of a serious crash with injuries at the intersection of West Northern Parkway and Pimlico Road.
Police say the woman was driving the Kia when it crashed into the Acura. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but later passed away. A passenger in the Acura was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
Authorities believe weather conditions may have contributed to the crash, though it remains under investigation. Witnesses at the scene have been asked to come forward to assist detectives. The Crash Team Detectives are working to determine the cause of the collision.
