ADELPHI, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday morning in Adelphi. The deceased passenger has been identified as 31-year-old Berta Marroquin Colindres of Hyattsville.
At around 5:50 a.m. on March 10, 2025, officers were called to the intersection of Adelphi Road and Riggs Road for a two-vehicle collision. The victim was transported to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Both drivers involved in the crash sustained what are believed to be minor injuries.
Preliminary findings suggest the vehicles collided in the intersection.
