A pedestrian was struck and killed in an overnight motor vehicle collision in Hanover, Anne Arundel County, on February 5, 2026, according to an official police release.
The fatal crash occurred along Aviation Boulevard during the early morning hours. Responding officers and emergency medical personnel found an adult pedestrian who had sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately release the victim’s name, pending family notification. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.
