Hyattsville Pedestrian Killed in Car Crash on Halloween

HYATTSVILLE, Md. — Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred early Friday morning. The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Chester Brandon of Gaithersburg.
Authorities said the crash happened on October 31, 2025, at around 12:40 a.m. in the 3300 block of Bladensburg Road. Officers responding to the scene found Brandon in the roadway suffering from trauma; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary findings indicate that a driver traveling southbound on Bladensburg Road struck the pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene and was not injured.
