PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Two people were rescued and five hospitalized after a crash in Brandywine on Thursday morning.

According to the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department, crews were dispatched shortly after 7 a.m. to the 5100 block of Floral Park Road. When firefighters arrived, they found two vehicles had collided, and two occupants were trapped inside.

Rescue teams worked to free both individuals. In total, five people were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Authorities have not yet released details about what caused the crash. The incident remains under investigation, and officials are urging drivers in the area to use caution and remain alert during the morning commute.
