Saturday Morning Car Crash in Gaithersburg Sends Four to Hospital

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A Saturday morning crash in Gaithersburg left several people injured and caused traffic delays, officials said.
Montgomery County Fire Rescue crews responded around 10:36 a.m. to the intersection of Frederick Road and South Westland Drive after receiving reports of a collision.
When first responders arrived, they found that two vehicles had crashed, leading to traffic backups in the southbound lanes of Frederick Road.
According to MCFRS, four people were injured in the incident. Two of them were transported to a nearby hospital and are expected to recover.
