Early Morning Head-On Crash Kills Two Men in Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Maryland State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Prince George’s County that claimed two lives early Monday morning.
Troopers were called to the scene at Maryland Route 4 and Woodyard Road just after 3 a.m. for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Investigators say 40-year-old Nana Arthur was driving a Toyota Rav4 south in the northbound lanes when he collided head-on with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Arthur and 46-year-old Tameka Patterson, a passenger in the Jeep, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe impairment may have contributed to the crash.
Maryland Route 4 remained closed for about four hours while authorities investigated.
