61-Year-Old Woman Dies in Galesville After a Two-Vehicle Crash

GALESVILLE, Md. — A fatal two-vehicle crash in Anne Arundel County is under investigation after a woman was killed Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 12:14 p.m. at the intersection of Muddy Creek Road and Old Sudley Road in Galesville.
According to police, a Toyota Prius was traveling north on Muddy Creek Road when, for reasons still under investigation, it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the Prius, 61-year-old Patricia Lynn Warren, died from her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Silverado, a 20-year-old man, was transported to Shock Trauma with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Anne Arundel County’s Crash Reconstruction Team is leading the ongoing investigation.
