Two-Vehicle Waldorf Crash Injures Woman

Incident Information

WALDORF, Md. — A woman was hospitalized on the morning of Monday, June 16, 2025, following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Crain Highway and Pembrooke Square in Waldorf.

The crash was reported shortly after 11 a.m., when a caller indicated she was unable to exit her vehicle. Emergency crews arrived promptly and performed a door pop to assist her; although she was not physically trapped, responders helped her safely exit the vehicle.

The woman sustained pain and bleeding on her left side. She was stabilized using a backboard and cervical collar before being transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

While en route to the scene, fire truck RE12 was involved in a minor secondary collision near St. Patrick’s Drive. No injuries were reported from that incident, though some responding units were briefly rerouted.

The cause of the initial crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
