Jerome joined Zirkin & Schmerling in 2025. Prior to his work at Zirkin and Schmerling, Jerome was an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore where he defended cases in both jury and bench trials, including drug cases, assaults, DUI/DWI, thefts, unlawful firearm possession, and incarcerable traffic cases. Before attending law school, Jerome served nine years enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he was honorably discharged in June 2017.

Jerome is an active member of his community and member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
